Only 9 more days

Hello and thank you for stopping by,
As the Stampin Up  onstage l9cal event is getting closer I decided to make a countdown showing you a priject or card i made during the last week.
So here we go.
As easter isn't that long ago i thought I would start with my international and national easter cards.
I made them using the honeycomb happiness Saleabration stampset . That little chick was just too cute. I watercolored it on watercolorpaper and handcut it.

While I used the petite petals punch on the international cards I used the vine from the botanical builder for you framelit dies for my national cards.

My awesome Demosister Peggy gave me the vine die for free. Awesome demo family I tell you.

Please let me know what you think.
Thank you for stopping by and happy stamping!

Only 10 more days

Hello and thank you for stopping by,
I know I haven't blogged in ages but life happens and I'm more of a crafter than a blogger but I will try to get on here a little more often.

Today I want to show you cards I made for 3 awesome ladies of my SU team. In  less than 10 days we will be at the Onstage local event in Düsseldorf and we will have a bunch of fun. We will swap little crafty creations with other demonstraters, get to see the new catalog, use new products and we can purchase them before others. How cool is that?
To add to the excitement I decided to send them each a card as a countdown reminder.
I used 2 stampsets for the cards. The number of years and the background set timeless textures.
The color combinations are favourites from my teammembers.

The curry, calypso coral and bermuda bay combination  was Franzi's favourite.

Saharasand, rosered and tip top taupe went to Peggy. And the third card in smoky slate, soft sky and calypso coral belonged to the wonderful Eva

If you would do me a favour and leave a little love and comments on their blogs I would really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.
I will blog again soon and once the Onstage local event is over i will show you the 60 swaps I made for it.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting

Maria :)

I´m back with a challenge

Hello and thank you for stopping by,
I know it has been really silent on my blog for a few months, but I will try to better myself and share more of my crafts here with you my dear followers.
So to start I made a card for the inkspire-me challenge 193. I never took place on one of their challenges and so I will defiently give it a try and see how it will go.

They have a colorchallenge this week using basic black, strawberry slush and whisper white plus a color of your choice. I picked old olive as my additional color and used one of my favourite Stampin´Up! Sets at the moment : painted petals.
I got the sketch for the card from Always playing with paper
I used whisper-white cardstock as my base and then addes layers of the basic black and strawberry slush. Then I took a piece of whisper white and stamped my pattern using the painted petals stampset. I used 2 3/4 inch strips of basic black and old olive to do the flags and layered them .
The Sentiment was stamped in strawberry slush and cut with the chalk-talk framelits. I inked the edges in basic black and then took the strawberry-slush  stampin´write marker to draw a free hand line that framed the sentiment that I totally love. I popped it up on dimentionals. Finally I added some bling to my card and I was done.

Please let me know what you think of my card. I love to read all of your comments. Have a wonderful sunday everyone.
Happy Crafting!!!

Happy Valentine's day

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by.  Today I want to reveal what the countdown was for. Last month I finally became an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I'm still so excited about it.  I joined my great Demonstrator's Franzi's team and we are going to have our firdt team meeting and event next month. It will be sooooooo much fun.
Okay now to today's project.  The sweet Franzi invited me to her Valentine's workshop and as always I prepared a little hostess gift for her. As it was valentines themed i picked the theme too and do she got this cute
VALENTINE'S MAILBOX

I found the idea and a written tutorial for it on the blog of the awesome Mary Fish.
She used the milkbox die Stampin up had until last june. As I don't have that die I went and looked for a tutorial on how to make the milkbox on my own.
I found a very easy one including a video tutorial (these are the best) from the great Sam Pootles (I know that it's not her real name) and made my milk carton just like shown in her tutorial.
I added a little bow, that I made with the new Stampin´Up! Bow builder punch from the spring catalog. I used the Stacked with love DesignerseriesPaper and also used the same pattern for the pannels on the front and back of the mailbox. The hearts and the border were punched with the Stampin up heart border punch.
I just love how this little project turned out and I´m happy that Franzi liked it as well :)

So I used great Stampin´Up resources to make this mailbox for my Upline Demonstrator.  How cool is that, huh?
Let me know what you think of it and please show pictures if you try to make the mailbox yourself.
Have a wonderful Valentine's weekend and Happy Crafting everyone

I love fairytales!

Hello and thank you for stopping by!
Since I can remember I'm a huge fan of fairy tales. Today I'm invited to a fairytale crime dinner. what is a crime dinner you ask? A crime dinner is like a normal dinner but with everyone having a role. Before or during the dinner a crime is happening like for instance someone is murdered.  Every guest of  the crime dinner has a role and one of them is the murderer. Through many rounds during the evening everyone gets a little hints and so we all try together to find out who is the murderer.
At our crime dinner tonight the victims of the murder are the Seven Dwarfs.
This dinner tonight is also a birthday party and as my friend is going to have the role of the Evil Queen from Snow White I made her this card. The stamp "Looking Glass" is from Lily of the Valley and I think it's so fitting. I colored it with distress inks and the new SU Blendabilities for the skin color. The mirror got a few drops of glossy accents. The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley from the gorgeous set Simply Sophisticated
The background paper is from SEI and the color of the cardstock is the new SU in color Blackberry bliss.
I also stamped and punched flowers in that color using the Petite Petals stampset and petite flower punch. In the middle of the flowers I placed a pearl with liquid pearls in the color Lavender Lace.
The opening in the middle was made using the scalloped tag punch from Stampin Up! . As last step I added some punched butterflies in Blackberry Bliss.

I also used this punch to make a fitting giftbox for my friend's present to go with the card.
I'm very pleased how both of them turned out.
What do you think?
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping

I would like to enter this card into the Monthly Challenge from LOTV with the theme take two!!
