Papierturnier Bloghop Valentine's Day

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month. Because of the business of Christmas we are one week late.

You´re probably arriving from Peggy or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.
This month´s theme for the bloghop is Valentine´s Day, which will be here already next week.

I started with a  extra thick Whisper white cardbase and put a layerof Rose red cardstock and a piece  of shimmery white cardstock on top of it on which I brushed on a watercolor wash using Melon Mambo ink.

My next step was to take a piece of the SAB 3/8" Metallic ribbon in gold and used my waterbrush to color it melon mambo just like the wash on the paper. the gold lines shine through which gives it a really nice effect. This way you can customize the ribbon any color you want to fit your project.

I weaved the ribbon through two diecutted hearts from the Sunshine Wishes Die-set. I cut one heart from whisper white cardstock and covered it in wink of stella and also added a layer of crystal effects and the other heart was cut from craft cardstock.

For the sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stampset which coordinates with the Sunshine Wishes die set. I stamped the "SENDING" in black on white cardstock and cut the edges to look like a little arrow.

I diecutted the word "love" from glimmer paper in gold and adhered both on top of the ribbon.

I used the leftover glimmer paper and punched a few tiny hearts from it with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and glued them randomly on the card. As last step I sprayed my card with some golden glimmer mist to give it a little more shine.
Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created  :)

The next in the line after me is

Melanie

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!!
 Maria :)
