Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
I´m finally back blogging after the long summer break. How was your summer?
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)
Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.
You´re probably arriving from
Peggy from Vive La Vigo
or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the
blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative
ladies taking part.
This month´s theme for the bloghop is fall/ autumn. Fall is one of my favorite seasons as it´s the time of pretty colors, hot chocolate and pumpkins....loooooooots of pumpkins and of course pumpkin pie and pumpkin pie spice and .... ok I guess I could go on and on about pumpkins as I´m a huge pumpkin
addict fanatic lover.
For this month´s project I choose to make a card using the SU Notecards in whisper white as a base.
I then picked a smaller piece of shimmery white cardstock as I think it´s great for watercoloring. So I wet the cardstock and then smooshed ink in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie (hahahahaha) , Real red and Tangerine Tango.
Afterwards I stamped some leafes from the new Stampset from the 2017 holiday catalog called Merry Café. I wanted to have some shine in the background and so I mixed some tombo Multi Mono Liquid Glue with a little bit of water and flicked a few drops of it on the paper. Then once it was on it I sprinkled golden glitter over it and it stuck to the glue drops, which I think looks very pretty.
Next I stamped and diecut a coffee to go cup from the Coffee Café stampset in Soft Suede and cut it using the coordinating dieset . I love the wooden texture on the cup...and the sentiment , which is from the merry Café set again is so me as I love everything pumpkin pie spice . You should try some in your hot chocolate ...soooo delicious. I stamped the lid and sentiment in Tangerine Tango ink and adhered everything together.
Behind the coffee cup I layered a piece of DSP from the Painted Autumn pack and punched it using the new Everyday Label punch.
To support the earthy fallish feeling I used some burlap ribbon and adhered it under the label and the coffee cup. I have to say I really like this ribbon for fall inspired projects.
To finish off my card I had to have a little more bling ( who doesn´t , right?) I diecut a maple leaf from the Seasonal layers Thinlits set out of golden glimmer paper and adhered it to the top left corner.
Voila!! I think this card has fall written all over it. What do you think?
Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created :)#
The next in the line after me is
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!!
Maria :)
