Some Amazing news and World Card Making Day 2017!!!!

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by!!!!

I have some amazing news to share with you:

I made it into the awesome Heffy Doodle Stamps Design Team 2017/18 !!!!!!

the heffy Doodle design Team
How amazing is that, right? I´m still over the moon and I´m feeling so honored that I was selected to work together with all these amazingly talented ladies!!! wooooot woooot!!!! You can find out more about the Team if you click on the picture!!!

As today is the official World Cardmaking Day Heffy Doodle provides not one but two special designed free digi stamp that you can download on the Heffy Doodle Blog. One of them has an american mailbox on it and the other one a british version, but both are just adorable ans supercute!!!!

https://heffydoodle.com/blog/

I chose the british free digi stamp as it is closer to the german mailboxes, than the american one.

So here is my take on it:

I started by printing out the image on some shimmery white cardstock and colored it using watercolors really carefully so I won´t smudge the black printer ink. It was a challenge, trust me :) Thank god for hairspray to fix the image at first lol

You might wonder why my mailbox is yellow instead of the british red??? As I live in Germany I chose that my bear will have a german yellow mailbox.

I picked a notecard as a base and diecut a stitched rectangle out of flirty flamingo cardstock to matt under the  colored image.  On both sides I added a piece of light blue ribbon for a nice touch.

To add a little bling I gave my cute little bear a necklace out of rhinestones and also put a rhinestone in every corner of the image.

Last but not least I added the sentiment "Happy World Cardmaking Day" to the card and popped it up on foam dots. Where did I got that sentiment from you might ask??? Guess what???? You get it free with the digi download!!! How cool is that!!! Extra Win, I would say!!! I just cut it out including that lovely little globe that comes with it. Fits perfectly for today, don´t you think??? BUt of course you can use that awesome free Digi stamp for all kind of other cards.

I hope you will have a great and very creative World Cardmaking Day!!!! Check out the Heffy Doodle Blog for more inspiration for this stamp.

Happy Crafting everyone!!!!

Big crafty hugs

Bloghop Papierturnier is back: Theme Fall/Autumn / Herbst

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
I´m finally back blogging after the long summer break. How was your summer?
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.

You´re probably arriving from Peggy from Vive La Vigo or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.

This month´s theme for the bloghop is fall/ autumn. Fall is one of my favorite seasons as it´s the time of pretty colors, hot chocolate and pumpkins....loooooooots of pumpkins and of course pumpkin pie and pumpkin pie spice and .... ok I guess I could go on and on about pumpkins as I´m a huge pumpkin addict fanatic lover.

For this month´s project I choose to make a card using the SU Notecards in whisper white as a base.
I then picked a smaller piece of shimmery white cardstock as I think it´s great for watercoloring. So I wet the cardstock and then smooshed ink in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie (hahahahaha) , Real red and Tangerine Tango.

Afterwards I stamped some leafes from the new Stampset from the 2017 holiday catalog  called Merry Café. I wanted to have some shine in the background and so I mixed some tombo Multi Mono Liquid Glue with a little bit of water and flicked a few drops of it on the paper. Then once it was on it I sprinkled golden glitter over it and it stuck to the glue drops, which I think looks very pretty.

Next I stamped and diecut a coffee to go cup from the Coffee Café stampset  in Soft Suede and cut it using the coordinating dieset . I love the wooden texture on the cup...and the sentiment , which is from the merry Café set again is so me as I love everything pumpkin pie spice . You should try some in your hot chocolate ...soooo delicious. I stamped the lid and sentiment in Tangerine Tango ink and adhered everything together.

Behind the coffee cup I layered a piece of DSP from the Painted Autumn pack and punched it using the new Everyday Label punch.

To support the earthy fallish feeling I used some burlap ribbon and adhered it under the label and the coffee cup. I have to say I really like this ribbon for fall inspired projects.

To finish off my card I had to have a little more bling ( who doesn´t , right?) I diecut a maple leaf from the Seasonal layers Thinlits set out of golden glimmer paper and adhered it to the top left corner.

Voila!! I think this card has fall written all over it. What do you think?

Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created  :)#

Papierturnier Bloghop Muttertag/Mother´s Day

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.

You´re probably arriving from Eva from Heldenstempel or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.

This month´s theme for the bloghop is Mother´s Day (Muttertag in german).
My mom´s favourite color is green and she loves flowers very much. That´s why I decided to include both in my mother´s day card for her.

The green color I picked is one of the new 2017-19 Incolors from Stampin´UP! called Lemon Lime Twist and I just love it. The stamps and dies are also brandnew and are from the Eastern Palace Suite that just Prelaunched by May 1st. I just love the dies that come with it. ( can you tell??? lol)

But first things first. I started with a square cardbase and matted a square piece of lemon lime twist cardstock o top that is about 2 cm shorter than the base to give the card kind of a frame.

On top of the green pannel I placed a piece of whisper white cardstock that I diecut with the Eastern medallion thinlits dies a flower element that doesn´t cut completely through so you can bend up the petals of the flower element from the card.I sponged these petals in lemon lime twist to give them additional dimension.  Under it you can see the green cardstock peeking through....so lovely.

Arround the petals I stamped one of the embellishing stamps from the Eastern Beauty stampset and then put a layer of fine tip glue over it. It dries completely clear and so you get a little glossy finish on your card.

In the edges I stamped two other stamps from the Easter Beauty stampset and  sponged them too. To add a little more glimmer to the card I placed the new upcomming glimmer enamel dots in all 4 corners and in the middle of the flower. they have a light green color and a great shimmery glimmer .

To finish the card off I added a sentiment from the german Thoughtful banners ( Bannerweise Grüße) stampset  on the top and bottom of the flower element .

What do you think? Do you have your mother´s day card ready yet?

Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created  :)

Papierturnier Bloghop Easter

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month. As Judith was very busy at the awesome Onstage event ( she did an amazing job by the way) Sonja took over and organised it for this month .

You´re probably arriving from Janina or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.

This month´s theme for the bloghop is Easter. As I showed you  a bunch of cards during the last bloghops I decided to go for a 3D object of an easter goodie that I made for my colleages and my SU team sister Eva from Heldenstempel( She did an amazing job at Onstage presenting as well).

My Easter Goodie this year is a testtube holder filled with yummy chocolate easter eggs. This one in the picture is made from daffodil delight cardstock that I cut, punched and scored to fit my testtubes that I got from amazon ( so happy I finally got to use them after months of owning them).

The bottom part I covered with diecut grass in Old olive that I sponged on the edges to look a little more 3D. On top came a little bunny from the Basket bunch stampset that I diecut with the fitting Basket Builder framelits. A little color on the cheeks, the bow and the ears using my trusty Stampin´write markers and my bunny was good to go ( to hide some eggs in that testtube lol).

The long piece on the back of the holder was punched with the scalloped Tag topper punch and then I stamped the easter egg line from the basked  bunch stampset in Daffodil delight to give the tube a fitting background.
On top of the tag topper I used some retired mossy meadow stitched satin ribbon and tied a knot and to repeat it I used t on the top of the testubes as well to give it a little continious line.

Under the ribbon I placed an oval that I cut with the stitched shapes framelits ( just love the stitched look) and stamped a german saying from the basket bunch  stampset and adhered it with some dimensionals to make it pop from the top.
I´m very pleased how this project turned out. I made it in a few different colors and all my colleagues liked it a lot. If you want a tutorial for this project please comment down below and let me know and I will work on one.

Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created  :)

Papierturnier Bloghop Goodbye Incolors 2015-17

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.

You´re probably arriving from Sonja Zöhrer or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.

This month´s theme for the bloghop is a Colour Challenge. The colors we chose for this bloghop are the soon to be retirering Stampin´Up! Incolors 2015-17.

I picked Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron for my card. I started with a whisperwhite cardbase and layered it with a piece o Tip Top Taupe. On the right side of the cardstock I taped down some watermelone wonder stripped washitape from the Tasty treats suite.

I then took a piece of whisper white and stamped the flower of the Gift of Love Hostess set in Tip top taupe and filled the image in with mint macaron leaves and watermelon wonder flowers.

On the bottom of the flower I stamped the birthday sentiment from the german Balloon Celebration ( Partyballons) in black.

I layered the stamped image  on a piece of mint macaron cardstock and that one on another piece of watermelon wondercardstock.

I also added a little bling in form of some sequins and my card was ready to go and will be gven to the recipient by my mom as it will be a birthdaycard for her colleague.

Papierturnier Bloghop Valentine's Day

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!
Today I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month. Because of the business of Christmas we are one week late.

You´re probably arriving from Peggy or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.
This month´s theme for the bloghop is Valentine´s Day, which will be here already next week.

I started with a  extra thick Whisper white cardbase and put a layerof Rose red cardstock and a piece  of shimmery white cardstock on top of it on which I brushed on a watercolor wash using Melon Mambo ink.

My next step was to take a piece of the SAB 3/8" Metallic ribbon in gold and used my waterbrush to color it melon mambo just like the wash on the paper. the gold lines shine through which gives it a really nice effect. This way you can customize the ribbon any color you want to fit your project.

I weaved the ribbon through two diecutted hearts from the Sunshine Wishes Die-set. I cut one heart from whisper white cardstock and covered it in wink of stella and also added a layer of crystal effects and the other heart was cut from craft cardstock.

For the sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stampset which coordinates with the Sunshine Wishes die set. I stamped the "SENDING" in black on white cardstock and cut the edges to look like a little arrow.

I diecutted the word "love" from glimmer paper in gold and adhered both on top of the ribbon.

I used the leftover glimmer paper and punched a few tiny hearts from it with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and glued them randomly on the card. As last step I sprayed my card with some golden glimmer mist to give it a little more shine.
Now have fun with the Blog Hop and have a look what the other lovely ladies created  :)

Papierturnier Bloghop SAB (Sale-a-bration)

Hello and Thank you for stopping by!!!Happy New Year everybody!!!!
This year  I´m taking part again in the Papier Turnier Bloghop again which means Paper Tournament :)  Judith from Austria organised this Bloghop that takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.

You´re probably arriving from Melanie or maybe you´re starting on my blog. Make sure to visit all of the blogs to get the full inspiration and ideas from all the very creative ladies taking part.
This month´s theme for the bloghop is SAB which stands for Sale-A-bration Stampin´s up biggest promotion of the year, where you get a free stampset/Projectset or some embellishments or paper from an exclusive catalog for free for every 60 €  you spend.

I decided to use the stampset Tasty trucks. I stamped the cute little truck on shimmery white cardstock and colored it with the new Watercolor pencils and then used my watertank brush to smooth out the color. I also stamped some stacked tacos and colored it in as well. Love this little truck, it´s so cute.

I matted it on a piece of Bermuda bay cardstock. The cardbase is one of the SU note cards you get with envelopes. I stamped and colored some random placed tacos on it so my card will have a nice fitting background.

On top of that I placed the 3/8 golden metallic ribbon which comes in a combi pack with silver and is also one of the awesome Sale-a-bration products.  I tied the ribbon into a knot and cut off the ends. i think it looks cute as well :)

I popped the truck image up with dimentionals and put it on in an angle to give the card more interest.

I then stamped the sentiment :" Let´s taco ´bout ow awesome you are" in Bermuda Bay ink and cut it into a flag using my scissors and matted it onto another piece of bermuda bay cardstock and also placed it on the card using dimentionals.
The last but not least thing I did was to add some bling....can´t go wrong with that, right?. I used bermuda bay colored sequins and put 7 randomly on my card.  tadaaaaaaa

What do you think? What is your favourite SAB product?

As today is also my Official 2 year Anniversary of becomming a Stampin´Up! Demonstrator and so part of the amazing PaperArtists Team of Franzi,  I´m doing a little giveaway. I´m giving away the tasty truck SAB set to one lucky person. All you have to do is to comment under this blogpost telling me which of my cardprojects of the last 2 years is your favourite .I will pick a random comment to win the stampset. Eligible is everyone that isn´t participating in this Bloghop. You have until the 19th of January of 2017 to participate.  :) I wish you the best of luck.
